Write short note on ‘Effect of gastric hormones’

Gastric hormones are secreted from the stomach known as gastrin. This hormone secreted from the G cells in stomach TG cells in GI tract islets in the pancreas.

Effects:
a) Stimulates gastric secretion motility.

b) Promotes growth of gastric mucosa.

c) Stimulates release of pancreatic hormones.

d) Stimulates secretion of pancreatic juice.

e) Stimulates secretion of pancreatic hormones.
